PHILOS
Since its inception, Sigma Gamma Rho has promoted unity and service among all women, even those who were not members of the sorority or do not hold college degrees. In 1954, the "friends of Sigma" were organized into an auxiliary called the Philo Affiliate. The Philos, which means "friend," have contributed countless hours of community service and thousands of dollars to Sigma Gamma Rho’s aim to enhance the quality of life within every community.
RHOERS
The women of Sigma Gamma Rho have always had a love for youth and have worked to help them reach their full potential. Established in 1939, the Rhoer Club Affiliate is a group of girls, ranging from ages 12-18. Through this club, young ladies work to support each other and their communities, while learning social, emotional, and professional skills and receiving mentorship from Sigma women.
RHOSEBUDS
The Rhosebud Club is an affiliate group consisting of girls, ages 8 through 11. Through this group, Sigma Gamma Rho seeks to play a role in helping to cultivate girls as they grow into young women who are well-rounded and will embody the qualities needed to be good students and productive citizens.
